From the Fencing Strip to the Bookshelf: Local Coach Debuts New Novel at Independent Bookstore Day

HILLIARD, OH — Saturday, April 25th, the local community is trading foils and epees for bookmarks. In celebration of Independent Bookstore Day, twenty-one area shops are joining forces for a massive "book crawl." Enthusiasts are invited to grab a passport, visit at least ten shops, and collect stamps along the way to celebrate the vibrant local literary scene.

A Landmark Year for Dragonfly Bookshop

For the first time, Hilliard’s own Dragonfly Bookshop is officially participating in the crawl. To celebrate their debut, they are hosting an Author Alley from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, featuring a lineup of local talent.

Meet Coach Tim A. Mills

Among the featured authors is a familiar face: Tim A. Mills. When he isn't coaching at Royal Arts Fencing Academy, Tim is crafting worlds of adventure.

Tim will be on-site with special pre-release copies of his highly anticipated new book, The Day the Whimsy Died. While the official release date isn't until May 7th, attendees at Dragonfly Bookshop can get their hands on a copy nearly two weeks early.

The novel is an Urban Fantasy book taking place in Columbus, Ohio!
